Antique Furniture & Interior Objects
A curated collection of antique furniture and interior objects, chosen for their craftsmanship, provenance and enduring beauty.
Our Philosophy
Each piece within our collection carries the marks of hands long stilled, the quiet imperfections that only genuine craftsmanship leaves behind.
We value provenance as much as beauty, restoring only where necessary and preserving what history has already perfected.
In a world built for the temporary, we curate what endures — pieces chosen not for a season, but for the generations still to come.
The Standard of Care
Every piece that enters the collection passes through the same considered hands — a measured process concerned less with making things new than with letting them endure.
Each acquisition begins in the hands of a specialist, who studies its construction, materials and period to understand precisely what it asks of us.
Where restoration is needed, it is undertaken sparingly and by hand — stabilising, never disguising — so that the character earned over generations remains intact.
A final, patient finish returns each piece to quiet working condition, ready to be lived with for another century rather than merely admired.
Personal Acquisition
Not everything of consequence passes through a catalogue. For collectors, designers and private clients with a particular piece in mind, we search quietly on their behalf — drawing on relationships built across decades and borders.
A single enquiry is enough to begin. What follows is a considered conversation rather than a transaction: an understanding of what is sought, and the patience to wait until the right object, in the right condition, becomes available.
Enquiries are treated in confidence.
Provenance & Authenticity
A gallery is only as considered as its judgement. Ours has been formed over long acquaintance with these objects — and it is exercised before a piece is ever shown, not asserted afterwards.
Each object is examined against the materials, construction and hand of its period before it is ever offered. Where a question remains, the piece does not enter the collection.
We record what is known of an object's history — its makers, its owners, the rooms it has passed through — and value the pieces whose stories deepen the understanding of their age.
To hold such objects is to hold them briefly. Our part is to keep them well and to place them thoughtfully, so that they endure long after they leave our care.
By Appointment
Collectors, designers and institutions are invited to begin a quiet dialogue with the gallery. Visits are arranged by appointment, and every enquiry is considered with the same care given to the pieces themselves.
