Terms
These terms govern your use of the 2Centuries Antique Furniture website and the enquiry service it provides. Please read them carefully. By using this website or making an enquiry, you agree to these terms.

This website is operated by 2Centuries Antique Furniture. These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you may use the website and engage with us regarding the pieces we present. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
These terms apply to all visitors to the website and to anyone who makes an enquiry through it. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or its enquiry service.
We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but it is provided for general guidance and may be updated or withdrawn at any time. The presence of a piece on the website does not guarantee its continued availability.
We describe each piece as carefully as we can, including its period, style and condition. Antique objects are individual and show natural signs of age and prior use; photographs and descriptions are intended to convey character honestly rather than to suggest a flawless condition.
Prices, where shown, are indicative and expressed in the currency stated at the time of enquiry. Prices may change and any figure is confirmed at the point of enquiry. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude delivery, handling, taxes and duties, which are confirmed separately.
This website operates on an enquiry basis; it is not an online shop. An enquiry is an invitation for us to provide information and, where appropriate, a quotation. A quotation is valid for the period stated within it and does not itself create a binding contract.
A contract is formed only when we confirm in writing that we accept your order for a specific piece. We reserve the right to decline an enquiry or order, for example where a piece is no longer available or where details cannot be confirmed.
Payment terms are agreed in writing for each piece before a contract is completed. Title to a piece passes only once payment has been received in full and cleared, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Arrangements for delivery or collection are agreed on a case-by-case basis, reflecting the nature, value and fragility of each piece. Risk in a piece passes on delivery or collection. Timescales provided are estimates given in good faith.
We take reasonable care to research and represent the origin, period and condition of each piece, and we are glad to share what is known about its provenance. Any specific assurances regarding authenticity or condition are those set out in writing for the individual piece.

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its information are provided on an "as is" basis, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the gallery is established, and any dispute relating to them is subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, save where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Questions about these terms may be sent to enquiries@2centuries.com.
We may amend these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The version published on this page, with the date shown above, applies to your use of the website.
